Kimbrer Computer Nominated for EY Entrepreneur of the Year

Every year, EY celebrates successful, growing and dynamic businesses, recognizing them through regional, national and global competition programs. This year, Kimbrer Computer has been nominated for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year regional award.

The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program is sponsored by Ernest & Young, a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services, and considered the world's most recognized and prestigious business award. The competition is held in more than 53 countries worldwide, aiming to highlight and celebrate the most succesful entrepreneurs and innovators.

»The nomination is a major accomplishment and demonstrate the respect Kimbrer Computer has earned from the industry for its commitment to great customer service, high quality and sustainable development.«

Morten Nøhr, founder and CEO

Since its founding in 1986, more than 10,000 people and companies have received these prestigious honors and awards. The first time the competition was held in Denmark was in 1997, and the former winners include distinguished companies such as JYSK, Pandora, Dyrberg/Kern and Sitecore.

Encouraging entrepreneurial activity

Through the competition, and by sharing inspiring stories, global analysis and real-world insights, EY wants to raise awareness of entrepreneurship, get closer to Denmark's best growth creators and inspire future generations of innovators to follow in their footsteps.

When selecting nominees and winners, EY considers the entrepreneur's values, leadership and social commitment as well as the companies' ability to grow. In this way, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program differs significantly from other growth competitions by putting entire company and its DNA in the spotlight.

From Denmark to Monaco

Across industries and types of businesses, an independent jury of former winners nominates five finalists in six regions, with one winner selected in each region. The nominees include founders, leaders and CEOs of top emerging and high-growth companies. Among the winners in the six regions is the national winner — and the winners of the special categories: Growth DK, Globalization, Innovation, Life Sciences, Start-up, Social Entrepreneurship and Award of Honor.

Winners will be announced on November, 28 in Copenhagen at the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award show. Besides the overall national title, the winner gets the honor of representing Denmark at the international final, EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year, which will be hosted in Monaco in 2020.
